With the 13th pick of the draft...

Well done, Mr Peat! We're looking forward to seeing you play in the NFL.  This is a slightly higher draft position than many predicted. (For instance, CBS had him at #21 to Cincinnati.)Â
Cincinatti vs New Orleans? I think Mr Peat will take that trade and the extra money.

In 1938 Neville Chamberlain declared "Peace in our time", Superman first appeared in Action Comics, Seabiscuit beat War Admiral ....... and C.a.l last won the Rose Bowl.

WE probably also have had more tight ends drafted than any other team since 2012 (and maybe fullbacks too) #smashmouthfootball.

There was even talk of him dropping to Indy in the 29th. This is great for him, though I would have enjoyed seeing him protecting Mr Luck.

They're listed as needing an OL, an OT, a C, and a DE. So they picked a WR.

Especially strange since they've already got Hilton, just signed Johnson... and Donte Moncrief had a pretty solid rookie season. Not sure why you take Dorsett there, unless they think he's far and away the best player available.

The rationale presented by the folks at Stampede Blue is that this may be a sign that the Colts are worried about being able to sign Hilton and give Luck the contract he wants. They still hate the pick, but that's the best they could come up with.
They better focus the rest of the draft on OL and defense.

Irsay is playing fantasy football. You don't get points for linemen.

I don't know this Tweeter but this reminds me of that awful N,D, game last year in which I'm pretty sure Mike Mayock said Stanford wouldn't have any defensive player drafted in the 1st 3 rounds. Seemed to be saying 'how do they do it?'
