Feeling Better? We scored another 20, but held Santa Clara to 10 and now lead 40-29.
Iriafen leads all scorers with 11; Brink and Jones each have five boards, Jump has a pair of threes, and Lepolo has another infinite assist/turnover game (2 assists with no turnovers).

We lead 40-29 at the half.
I'm liking the different combinations of players that Tara is putting out on the court. We've talked about wanting her to mix starters with bench players rather than just a lineup of either, so that's good to see.
And until the late Santa Clara run at the end of the second quarter, we played them much better defensively in the first few minutes of the second.
However, our shooting is below average (by our standards) and I think we are settling for shots and a little stagnant. Our offense works best when it's flowing and something is just off. We are missing some layups and jumpers.

We got a nice video on the stream at the start of halftime with all or most of the players speaking.... but with no audio.
Also my stream capture failed. I guess I'll try it again to see if I can get the second half.

We had 8 missed layups in the first half.
I'm watching Jump and Pretchtel warming up shooting 3s. Amazing. Well over 70% made.

No, are you, Smugmeister? Some are satisfied when Stanford is ahead, regardless of how they played. Others only feel good when Stanford plays better than it has recently or almost up to its potential, keeping in mind the tough critical games to come if a Natty is the goal.
