Would be fun to see him back home.

Congratulations to LSJU alums Harrison Phillips (Minn. Vikings) and Solomon Thomas (NY Jets), nominated for the NFL's Walter Payton Man of the Year Award!

Simi Fehoko waived by the Chargers.

RE: NFL cuts / Stanford alums - Mick - 12-07-2023

It'd be nice to see Zach Ertz on the 49ers.

Report: 49ers believed to be interested in free agent tight end Zach Ertz

RE: NFL cuts / Stanford alums - PVTree - 12-09-2023

Ty Montgomery cut by the Patriots.

RE: NFL cuts / Stanford alums - Mick - 12-09-2023

Eagles think they will lose Ertz to the 49ers:

Eagles Rumors: Philly in Danger of Losing Zach Ertz to 49ers

RE: NFL cuts / Stanford alums - chrisk - 12-10-2023

Mills came in today with Stroud injured and down 24-6 to Jets. Went 1-5 with final score 30-6.

RE: NFL cuts / Stanford alums - Nobadeer - 12-10-2023

Colby Parkinson TD for the Seahawks, his first of the season! (in the loss to SF. CMC other worldly as usual for the 49ers).

RE: NFL cuts / Stanford alums - Nobadeer - 12-13-2023

Kyu Blue Kelly waived by the Packers, signed by the Commanders. He joins fellow former LSJU star Casey Toohill, who has 5 sacks and 9 QB pressures this season.

RE: NFL cuts / Stanford alums - PVTree - 12-14-2023

Bobby Okereke playing will for the Giants.

Three time Pro Bowler Zach Ertz still hasn't found a home. Arizona released him at his request. He wants to join a playoff team. He had an ACL in week 10 of 2022, he's played in 7 games with 27 receptions for 187 yards (6.9 ypc) and a TD. The Cardinals won 1 of 7 games that Ertz played in. He's caught 27 of 43 targets.

Davis Mills may start Sunday with CJ Stroud still in concussion protocol.

First career TD for Elijah Higgins, vs. the 49ers! 4 receptions total, 44 yards.

CMC just another routine 3-TD day. 187 yards from scrimmage.

The Texans opted to not start Davis Mills and he played just one snap and got sacked. Houston won anyway.

Terry Bradshaw in his post game, called him his MVP of the league. With the egg laid by Prescott, it's CMac or Purdy.

Tucker Fisk with his first career reception, a 9 yard pass for Atlanta.

I would not have predicted this two years ago, but CMac has a *very* good chance of making the pro football HOF.

I think CMac's surest road to Canton is to boost his career TDs to 95 (right now I believe he has 80). In NFL history, the vast majority of guys with over 95 TDs are in the HOF. The only real exception (as some guys w/95+ TDs are either just now eligible or not quite yet eligible for induction) is Shaun Alexander, a former Seattle Seahawks RB with an MVP award and 112 career TDs.

This will be only his third Pro Bowl season and second All Pro season. The Hall of Fame monitor has McCaffrey with a 31.80 score (107th among RBs), with the average Hall of Fame RB at 106.95. I’d ballpark estimate that McCaffrey needs two more Pro Bowl seasons after this one to get in. I think he has a real shot but *very* good chance is overstating. As with many RB greats health and longevity will play a role.

He’s also the best all purpose RB in football.  Has been since his second year except for the time he had some injuries.  Has the top two seasons for receptions by a RB.  Only Faulk, Craig and he have done 1,000/1,000. Needs one more catch and I think he will be fastest to 500 catches for a back.   Tied Lenny Moore for most consecutive with a TD.

He didn’t make Pro Bowl last year. Which was a joke.

NFL may change the metric a bit numbers wise. The 10,000 rushing back given today’s game is going to be sparse. Who among today’s backs? Henry for sure. Elliott a possibility. After that - hard to tell.

Sure, he needs another couple years. But he’s certainly HOF to this point.

Still can’t figure out why Roger Craig isn’t in HOF. Not to mention Ricky Waters.

The thing is “the time he had some injuries” was 2020 and 2021. His chances will go up if the second half of his career is healthier than the first half, but that’s speculative.

LeSean McCoy, Marshawn Lynch, and Frank Gore are currently in the Hall of Fame waiting room ahead of McCaffrey, but McCaffrey hopefully has a lot of career left to catch up/surpass.

How about a retro Hizeman while we’re at it…to fix the biggest mistake the voters ever made.
