I trust Anderson to make good adjustments at half. QB may be better than they thought. We know the run D is iffy. Not enuf good big guys up front.

What are we doing on D? Little pass rush, big holes in the D line, and the QB seems able to find open receivers whenever he tries. All in all, mystifying.

Way to call a play that struggles to get close to the first down marker. We're starting to make more and more Shaw penalties.

Our D has been lackluster at best so far and they weren't a max readiness for that QB sneak on D4. BAD!!!
Of all the things to pick on you chose the fourth down play we stopped at the point of attack (he got it because he was pushed by his running back). How about being completely unready for a running play on second and 19? Or letting the WB hit a wide open receiver on the third down play just short of the sticks that made that fourth down play possible? Or Williamson being two steps short on the touchdown pass? Or our inability to generate much pressure on a lousy Vandy offensive line that had to replace four of its linemen?

Going for it was the right play. But if you are going to go for it by running it up the middle, you better get your offensive line to give you a push, which it didn’t.

Agreed, going for it was correct decision, but the play call was atrocious. They brought every defender in the box and ran up the middle. Running out of the spread right there would've been so much easier...

We gave Vanderbilt too much time. They could score to take the lead against our defense, and they get the ball back to start the second half.

Now the defensive line is doing a better job pressuring.
Gutsy move by Shaw calling a time out and maybe forcing Vanderbilt to give it back. Hope it doesn’t blow up.
