I had a different take here. CalPoly was consistently doubling and sometimes even trippling when the ball got down to the post. I imagine kicking the ball out to the shooter is exactly what Tara wants in those situations - at least it is what I would tell a team to do :).
i thought hannah came out because she, haley, and talana had the most minutes and it was time to pull the starters and stop running up the score.
Same. Also, I recall Jump being wide open on her looks so it seemed like the natural option as opposed to anything forced.

Belibi is particularly good at finding Jump, often from the other side of the court.

Not in that series of shots. The ball was inside the 3 point line twice: 1) Belibi received the ball just inside the 3pt line and handed it to Jump who hit. 2) Jump missed a 3pt shot, which was rebounded by Belibi at the low block (single defender), who then passed it cross court back to Jump, who then didn't miss.
Belibi and Prechtel were the bigs during most or all of that series. Only one pass was attempted into the bigs, but Harriel sailed it well over Belibi in transiition. CP SLO looked to be in a zone.
Jones was the other player on the court, but never touched the ball inside the 3pt line.
Yeah, we could bomb 3s all game long against a zone, but I bet that wasn't what Tara wanted to develop against a weaker team. Stanford needs to be able to deal with a zone with something other than settling for 3-point shots. Never getting it inside the 3-point line is not what the team needs.
