Gotta bounce back and get a TD.

The creativity that Cal showed on that 2-point conversion is precisely the unpredictability that Stanford seems incapable of.

That's a super quick three and out by us.

McKee’s stock in the NFL draft dropping fast.

RE: Big Game thread - MV72018 - 11-19-2022

McKee, with plenty of time, throws to a well-covered man. Brilliant!

Down 20-17 now with 9min to play, after failing to respond.  PUNT
Shaw tends to play statistical averages when up 17-12, and then we get shocked by the Black Swan scoop and score lightning strike.  BAM.

What we need now is the Pick-6.
Our Defense is tired, depleted.  Out of gas

Just once, I'd like to see Shaw show some emotion on the sidelines. Maybe he's a card-carrying Stoic.

At this pace of injuries, we will not be able to field a team against BYU.

That might be our best course of action.

RE: Big Game thread - martyup - 11-19-2022

Suddenly Cal can run the ball.  We make teams look good.

RE: Big Game thread - Mick - 11-19-2022

Well THAT was pretty cool!

RE: Big Game thread - martyup - 11-19-2022

That was a needed INT!!

RE: Big Game thread - MV72018 - 11-19-2022

Looks like we're about to go down by 10. But no, an INT. Can we mount a drive.

Problem is, it puts our Shawfense back on the field to stink it up.

RE: Big Game thread - cardcrimson - 11-19-2022

Now they're comparing McKee to Elway. . ..

RE: Big Game thread - ADPinWDC - 11-19-2022

Classic KAL Stupidity -- they throw a LOB into the end zone and we INTERCEPT!!
Big pivotal turnover!  With 7m to play.  WOW. A gift.
All Kal had to do was run the ball.  Stupid, good.

Punting here with 5m to go, nearly seals the loss.  Our Defense cannot stop the run

Which we do very well.

Another wildly inaccurate pass by McKee.

Could be getting ready for another rousing Big Game finish.

RE: Big Game thread - ADPinWDC - 11-19-2022

Do we have a lateral play on the Kickoff after Kal kicks a FG here?

RE: Big Game thread - JJJ - 11-19-2022

I don’t know about the final pass the Higgins and McKee were complaining about (didn’t show the replay) but McKee has been clobbered in the head before and there’s been no call. He probably has a legit case to have a beef.
