That would be asking for clever, foresightful planning and practice.

Shaw tends to play statistical averages when up 17-12, and then we get shocked by the Black Swan scoop and score lightning strike.  BAM.

What we need now is the Pick-6.
Our Defense is tired, depleted.  Out of gas

The whole team looks tired.

Notice Shaw on the sidelines pondering possible play calls for the next drive.

The problem is he can't pay attention to other aspects of the game.

Coach Shaw . . . given him the axe, the axe, the axe

RE: Big Game thread - TonyLima - 11-19-2022

Why did Shaw call that timeout?

RE: Big Game thread - martyup - 11-19-2022

I have great confidence that we will march down the field and score the winning TD with no time left.

I can stop watching now.

RE: Big Game thread - BostonCard - 11-19-2022

McKee is showing me NOTHING.

RE: Big Game thread - Treefence - 11-19-2022

NFL scouts can save some travel expenses, because they don't need to watch McKee again...

RE: Big Game thread - PVTree - 11-19-2022

We need to return the favor... Fumble, scoop, and score.

RE: Big Game thread - martyup - 11-19-2022

Shaw needs to get on his horse and just ride away.

KZSU not mincing any words in discussing clock management by our HC.

RE: Big Game thread - MV72018 - 11-19-2022

If Cal scores here, Shaw might be history.

RE: Big Game thread - ADPinWDC - 11-19-2022

Does it mean anything to AD Muir that we finish 12th in the Pac12?

Are we behind Colorado?

Weenies storm the field after beating the hapless 3-8 Stanford Cardinal.  Dorks.

Probably tied for 11th with Colorado but still last.

RE: Big Game thread - MV72018 - 11-19-2022

Even here our play calling is beyond terrible!!!!

How can Shaw call any pass plays that if complete would not give us a first down?

He was calling plays like he had 4 min left on the clock! Totally disorganized!

RE: Big Game thread - martyup - 11-19-2022

Karty will attempt a 61 yard FG.  I like it.
