Ir's pretty bad.
Then again in 1984 when we led the Cougs 42-14 in the third quarter and lost 49-42 rivals it.
I still have occasional nightmares of Rueben Mayes running….

We all failed the prediction this week.
Speak for yourself. I picked WSU. But I didn't see them putting up 42 on us in H1! This is BEYOND PATHETIC!!! It's obscene!

Did you pick them to score 98?

Did you have WSU on pace to win 84-14?

So did I, but I thought we would put up a fight. I had the Cougs winning 24-20. Oops.

No, I didn't, but then I underestimated how pathetically bad we are. I think I had it 27-17.

Well, if we are going to lose I would rather we lose spectacularly to hopefully hasten a coaching change.

Marty, don't hold your breath waiting for that to happen. It's simple according to Shaw: we're not "executing"! Along with doing everything else at a junior college level.

“Stanford Hates Fun” on two tuba covers in the band.

That mantra will only go so far. At some point it's either make a coaching change or just cancel football.

That's sad. It should have been on every instrument in the band.

In a “normal” blowout Stanford would “win” the 2nd half 14-10. Today 0-14.

I think it's going to take the players going to Muir for a change to be made. That's what got IdiotFace fired. Football & MBB make far more money from media than they do from attendance, so empty stadiums don't matter like they used to.
If I were a player I would let Muir know that I will be playing for a different head coach next season, and that it's up to him whether that's at Stanford or somewhere else.

Did WSU really only have 3 bench guys in on D for that play? We'll win that matchup at least 10% of the time!

Well, if Stanford had tried for 2 and failed, then scored one more TD and failed the conversion, those 19 points would have been looking pretty good! Now you have to hope Stanford gets a FG and a Safety.
