Major fail today. We proved we could outplay them in the first Q. Then we jumped on the suck train. We didn't lack the talent. We got out coached and out played. F Cal. Keep the f'ing Axe. We don't deserve it.

Terrible play calling. Especially that 3rd and 8ish pass for 2 yards to Roush earlier. Critical play that cost them dearly.

I don’t see how
This season was barely treading water compared to last year
I think it matters because if we win we at least win one more game than we did last year.
Very disappointing how Kal dominated us in the fourth quarter.
Unfortunately I called this one right. I figured Kal would probably win a close game.

Major disappointment. Up 21-7, and we toss it away. Four straight for the Bears. Somehow, I smelled this ending when we were up 21-10. F it all. And the Bears get bowl eligibility on our backs.

Only Elic, Mosley, and Roush caught passes today.
The offense still looks limited to offensive options.

That was partially because we were playing well, but mostly because Kal was sleepwalking through it. Make no mistake, Kal isn't "good". Their O line has all kinds of problems. Ott hasn't really recovered his form after injury. Stanford's defense played well today and exploited Kal's weakness in the run game and pass protection. It was close, but not enough. A few too many in-game injuries degraded our precariously balanced chances for victory. Kal's defense is actually pretty good when it keeps it's focus. Once they woke up to the fact they needed to play, Stanford didn't have the horses on offense. When you are not a triple option type team and your QB has 21 rushing attempts, you have a problem. If that is a "major fail" it is certainly consistent with how we have played all year.

We're not going to lose big against SJS, although we may lose.
Anyway, I think TT gets another year no matter what happens.

Did TT refuse to kick at FG earlier int the game to go with a trick play?
We blew a FG try on a bad snap, resulting in a desperation incomplete pass by the holder. That surely wasn't an intentional trick play.

I don't see a way that TT is fired after this season unless there is a player uprising which I don't see happening either.
