What the hell is a 59er?

Why can't we just be able to type C.A.L. and U.S.C.? This is ***** annoying.

It's not that big a deal. If we were Cal or USC students, we'd have more to worry about. And what if we were back in the Buddy Teevens or Tyrone Willingham era? Then we'd have brobdingnagian, brobdingnagian problems.

I find the tyrannical software amusing.  Is there an exhaustive list of its wise fiats?  Or is our stumbling upon them part of its purpose?

Didn't someone share that joke earlier with a Fresno or SJSU fan as the foil?

From the FAQ:

http://www.thecardboard.org/faq.html#software

A San Jose fan would never climb Everest - Redrum - 08-25-2011

He'd spend his time shuffling around Base Camp and kicking stones while muttering about how mountain climbing is just an elitist pursuit of spoiled rich kids.

(which is partly true.  The cost ranges from about $30K to $70K.  But San Jose fans are so crosswise on things Stanford that they would get within three days' climb  of the highest summit in the world and then not go just to prove their blue collar credentials.)

Admins can see it. I even tweaked it slightly when Yvonne wasn't looking.  ;)

But its secrets are safe with me.  :-X
