26,515 - cardcrimson - 11-06-2022

Yesterday's official attendance. Allegedly 53% of capacity. . . .Not any stadium pics from the game, did it look over half full?

RE: 26,515 - Phogge - 11-06-2022

It looked like there were more people in the winners circle at Keeneland then in the sunny side in the second half(on TV).

I’m sure you know that the pac 12 only announces tix sold and has for years
I guessed 12-14K for ASU for instance

Don't they scan everyone's ticket who enters the stadium?  That seems like any easy, digital way to get an accurate count for actual attendance.

I'd guess the actual attendance was a bit less than the ASU game, maybe ~7,000 people

Why not tell the truth for a change?

Tickets sold: 26,515.

Attendance: about 5,000.

53% of capacity is a cosmit farce!

Bunch of liars!

Ouch. Not a good look. . . .How many at the kickoff in the second half?

About a third of those who attended left Section 211 during halftime.  I stayed until the bitter end...although I'm not sure why.

I'm pretty sure the athletic department is primarily concerned about ticket sales, not actual attendance. Nevertheless, they've got to realize that sales are going to plummet.

They should worry about attendance. If I was a four star recruit and the decision came to be Stanford or Oregon the funeral parlor that is Stanford Stadium might just influence my choice.
