I didn't realize the head coaches were chosen last fall, a while ago, and the assistant coaches would be named later (balancing current athletes on the team and international experience).

The SwimSwam article lists only one Stanford swimmer on the 2024 Olympic team, but I would point out Meehan has a lot of experience coaching Ledecky. While Florida has a coach for the men’s team, they have none on the women’s team.

Right, the article only mentions the current student-athletes under their respective coaches. While Huske is a current Stanford swimmer, obviously Ledecky and Manuel are Stanford alumnae who have competed under Meehan. I didn't catch any Stanford men on the team either.

NBC posted a graphic last night that credited Stanford with 4 Olympic swim team members - Huske, Manuel, Ledecky and would the 4th be Regan Smith? She is currently listed on the national team roster as Unaffiliated with regard to college.

Great 50 freestyle by Manuel last night. Per GoStanford, there were 4 Stanford W swim Olympians in Rio, 8 in Tokyo.
And this is hard to believe, but per GoStanford, the last Stanford M swim Olympian for Team USA was back in . . . Beijing 2008: Ben Wildman-Tobriner. Since then, there have been Team USA divers and swimmers for other countries, but no men's swimmers for Team USA.

Tom Polonsky made the Israel team this year.
