Troy - in your comments after you conclude the interview with the new GM you said that it wasn't that long ago that Stanford football was relevant on the national scene. And yet it seems like ages ago when Stanford beat Oregon in Eugene in 2018 on a few miracle plays to reach #7 in the AP rankings. They got thumped in the next two games against Notre Dame and Utah to fall out of the rankings and have been falling ever since.
I appreciate your and Andrew's optimistic comments. But it seems like Andrew has a very tough job ahead of him. Stanford's last 4 seasons collectively are perhaps the worst 4 year stretch in school history. Attendance has fallen off a cliff. Clearly something is not working. I hope that he will take a hard look at all aspects of the program.

Curtice showed improvement from year 3 (0-10) to year 4 (4-6). And he beat Cal in year 4.
I would argue that 4 consecutive 3-9 seasons with 4 losses to Cal should be ranked right there with Cactus Jack for worst 4 year stretch.
