Looks like the ACCN broadcast of the Stanford game is being delayed while Clemson and Wake Forest battle it out in OT
Stanford at Syracuse on ACC Network Extra if you get it

12-12 halfway though Q1.
Somfai with two threes.
We are still having problems getting off a shot on time.

Please sit Lepolo. She's not an offensive threat or even looking to score and is turning the ball over. Ogden isn't valuing the basketball either. You would think after Duke that would be an area of emphasis to improve. NOPE. Somfai playing well and keeping us in the game. Shay looks like the spark we needed. Only down 2 despite some questionable decision making.

If we can stop the turnovers, we are otherwise pretty equally matched with Syracuse statistically at this point in the game. (Stanford 10 TO's, Syracuse 5)

Shay brings energy and enthusiasm to the game. More, please.

+1 And Shay has NO turnovers. It's her day.

Halftime down 8.
First quarter had little defense for either team and Q2 has had little offense for either team..
Turnovers as usual are a problem and we have had little offensive rebounding to compensate.
Agara has been ineffective while Swain had a disastrous first half. Somfai playing very well and she is mostly all we had on offense - 15 out of 29 points.

We’re winning the TO race 13-8.
Also GET THE BALL TO SOMFAI

Down 8 at halftime. Somfai has 15 of our 29 points.
Not encouraging.

I presume you have access to stats, but I guess you haven't looked.
Swain improved in Q2 but still has 4 TO in 14 minutes. (0 pts, 0 assists)
Ogden 3 TO in 14 minutes.
4 players with 1 TO. Lepolo 1 TO in 11 minutes.

At the game and completely agree - in fact in no world we inhabit is Lepolo an ACC type of player. My husband said Shay should start. Feel badly that Swain not shooting well and that the guards keep missing open post players - even despite those height disparities which make it look like they have 3 bigs and we have 1-1/2. Also on TV does it truly appear we aren’t being fouled by them inside on our shots? Can not tell here at the game but iffy.

Swain is a freshman who at least tries to be a threat offensively. She could have been subbed out earlier as well for her turnovers. Lepolo is a SENIOR who's played in many big road games. Upperclassman need to step up and lead.
Somfai has been stellar but our guard play and decision making has to be so much better.
We could claw our way back in the 2nd if we can stop turning it over or this is gonna spiral into a 20 point loss. Will see.

On TV I thought Agara was fouled a few times without a call. Otherwise I can’t think of many cases of what looked like an uncalled foul inside. For what one opinion is worth.

The very definition of home court advantage. .
a lane violation gives Syracuse a point. That’s just bad coaching.

Swain and Ogden were both top 10 national recruits coming out of high school.
Maybe Swain gets a bit of a pass because she is a freshman.
Still SMH.

Btw, Syracuse came into the game as #2 nationally in offensive rebounds. Right now Stanford OR: 7 Syracuse: 6. Something going right in that stat.

The tv commentators just praised Lepolo's quick hands on defense.
