Getting to 3 or 4 wins seems possible. Beyond that will be really tough.

I like Hawaii, Elon, Cal (just because it's Cal) and maybe one upset.

4 cross country trips to the East Coast, plus the away game at ND. (Cal has 3 cross country trips, plus away at SMU.)

So it's possible that LSJU will again be among the national leaders in flight miles in 2026. Road warriors, let's go!!

last reunion weekend when we played FSU they were giving season ticket buyers two free tickets (don't recall where they were, I got two but could not find any takers) and a free parking pass (lots 7/8, and I did find a taker for the pass) I'm not sure all that many alums plan reunion weekend around the football game.....and given they still don't have a time for that game some reunion planning will still be up in the air for those who prioritize the game over other possible activities that weekend

For those who don't know, Elon is a small private university in North Carolina, about as old as Stanford. Elon is also Latin for "how Wake Forest gets bowl eligible every year." 

The Phoenix are:

9-33-1 against Appalachian State (last win in 1964)
1-0 against Camp Lejeune
0-8-1 against Duke but 2-1 against the Duke "B" team
0-1 against Georgia Tech (0-70 in 2013 - I'll wear it)
1-9 against James Madison
1-2 against Miami, F.L.A! (beat them in 1928, last played in 1941)
0-1 against North Carolina
0-4 against NC State (albeit last game was in 1936)
0-2 against Vandy (when Vandy sucked)
0-12-1 against Wake Forest

If Stanford loses to Elon, shutter the program. Although this would mean Stanford also beats Miami and some team like Gardner-Webb is declared the national transitive champion.

Elon is a proud member of the Coastal Athletic Association (FCS), rebranded from the Colonial Athletic Association.

Very good data, thanks Jacket. My first thought was, Elon spelled backwards is Nole, so Elon must be the Florida State JV team! . . .

Last season, the reunion weekend game was a nail-biter of a win against Florida State!  Quite a contrast for next season.

When I was on the reunion committee last year, I was told that something like 75% of reunion attendees say they want a home football game on the schedule but less than 10% actually attend the game.

Still, if you're going to have a game on reunion weekend it's better to get a W.

this sounds about right to me, I wonder how many of those 10% are locals, have season tickets, and go to the games reunion weekend or not.

I go to the games, usually by myself until I find out who else I know is at the game via social media during the game.  But my graduating class belongs to an era of football futility and non-engagement.

I wonder if the reunion committee only looks at people who bought football tickets directly from the athletic department and not through secondary markets or personal networks. Or maybe this data comes from some post-reunion survey.
