Re: Lane Kiffin brings SEC practice to SC - 81alum - 01-12-2012

That is a powerful video and another reason to hate LSU and the SEC for the outright exploitation of student athletes.

Hasn't the NCAA been doing something about these one-year scholarships?  I thought I saw a news story about four year scholarships a while back.

Out of complete ignorance, how common are these practices?  Has Stanford ever gone "over the cap" on its scholarship promises?  Has Stanford ever failed to renew a scholarship for four years?  How about other schools in the Pac-(number of the moment)?

Hasn't the NCAA been doing something about these one-year scholarships?  I thought I saw a news story about four year scholarships a while back.

This is one of the reasons the NCAA is considering four year scholarships and giving student athletes six years to graduate.  That, and the fact they are being sued for anti-trust violations that could put the entire NCAA system in jeopardy.
