There was almost something anti-climatic about C-Mac breaking Toby's record. Sort of maybe a comment on how far the program has progressed since then. When Toby did it, it was the highlight of his should-have-been-Voldemort campaign, it was our first home win against a top 25 team in who knows how long, and it made it bowl eligible for the first time in 8 years. The whole game was amazing and the record was the cherry on top. But the way things have gone since then, it's seems like yeah of course we'll be able to break some of our own records, duh. And while this was a great high profile game and great win, it feels like just another solid game from what is shaping up to be a solid team; unlike the 2009 Oregon game this one maybe won't stand out from the other games this year to go on some wall of fame.
