The Colts suck. And are the walking wounded. And I wish Luck would find a way to get onto a better team.
But he also through 3-4 horrible passes that could have easily been intercepted and sailed/under threw a few others. His return is still in progress.

Also, at risk for his shoulder falling off from throwing it that much.
Honestly, if I had a guy who is coming off a season where he was on IR the entire time with shoulder surgery, I would try not to tax his shoulder too much.

Luck is blame in part for his current situation. He shouldn't have signed the extension and gotten the hell out of Indy as quickly as possible. Yes, Irsay could have franchised him - repeatedly - but the more likely outcome would have been a sign & trade. Doubtful any owner wants a disgruntled starting QB.
It's hard to remember a greater talent at the position being wasted so badly.

Plunkett at New England comes to mind. I’m sure other fan bases have their own stories but I too wonder how my favorite Stanford player would be doing within a more competent organization.
