When women's golf is mentioned I always think about Dr. Sally Krueger, who (as Sally Voss) played for Stanford in the late 70's and had as good a swing tempo and rhythm as anyone who has ever played golf. Sensational player who has won dozens of amateur tournaments . Her game was more than good enough to earn a living as a playing professional but she chose instead to be an anesthesiologist. Remarkable woman.

There will be a scrum over the course of the season for the #5 position. Lots of competition for it. But the top 4 seems solid UNLESS Lee and/or Valenzuela decide to go for Q School. Lee just missed making it to the Q School finals last year. She may try again.

I've been waiting to see Reyes make a move. 
She's a better golfer than her WAGR ranking suggests.

Amazing that Stanford's #9 played on a team
that advanced to the NCAA match play finals.
And that Stanford's likely #7 and and #8
have played in two of them.
