What's up with Delaire?? He has been horrible. A young team needs leadership from its most experienced players. He is -18 in +/- at the half and has 4 TOs to go with 2 points.

Delaire is really good but sometimes he thinks he's great; doesn't move the ball, tries difficult shots, misses and tries them even more, and then gets disappointed and doesn't stay connected.

I don't think SCU will continue to shoot 66%.  They've had a lot of luck on their side.  38-64 with 15:07 remaining.

Stanford is up on rebounds 21-20, but they should be way up, IMO. SCU has 24 pts off of turnovers, Stanford leading 14-8 in turnovers.

I laughed out loud. Thanks I needed that. I don't get Haase at all. Player rotations and offensive schemes are mind-boggling. Solid defense is usually the strong point.

The bus ride back to Stanford, I still remember how quiet (and dark) it was.  That bus was quiet AF, but at least it was almost full.  I can't imagine that will be the case tonight.

I remember that, 86-76 loss, sandwiched by losses to Louisville and Michigan State.  I really liked Hernandez, Grunfeld, Little, Robinson, Haryasz.  Fun team.  SCU was 5-2 going into that game with a win over North Carolina the prior week.  they weren't deep, but they had three really good players, Doron Perkins, Travis Niesen and Kyle Bailey.  Pretty good PG in Brody Angley.

I went to that arena once when Stanford was not that great the prior year, but I knew people that were Santa Clara alums.   They thought Santa Clara would win, but Stanford had this new PG he was AMAZING.  It was then that I got to see how one player can really change everything.   He was scoring and dishing like no PG I had seen at Stanford.   The PG was, of course, Brevin Knight.

In hoops it really can all switch around with just one quality future NBA player.   Well, one quality player and a solid coach.   :(
