In 2015 going into McCaffrey's record-setting Monster year, we opened at #21, and
finished at #3 after clobbering IOWA in the Rose Bowl.
... Arguably, Stanford's best team ever.
Then in 2016, we opened at #8 and finished #12 (10-3)... after outlasting UNC (McCaffrey DNP) in Sun Bowl.

2010: Luck started the rise: We opened Not Ranked, and
climbed up to #4 after dominating VTech in the BCS Orange Bowl.
2011: Luck returns (Harbaugh gone),
we open season at #7 and ended at #7 (at 11-2), after the tight loss to OKST in OT, Fiesta Bowl.
2012: We open at #21 (Luck gone), and then after winning Pac12 at 12-2 and edging WISC in Rose Bowl (2013),
finish #7.
The highlight is dumping #1 Oregon at Autzen in OT on College Gameday, Nov. 17. Bears are snuffed, 21-3. Our Great D.
2013: Hogan at helm, start at #4 and repeat to Rose Bowl, but lose closely to a tough MIST Defense, still end up 11-3,
end at #11.
2014: Start at #11, but stumble down to 8-5... end with a clinical take down of Maryland in Foster Farms FreezeyerKeaster Bowl
2015: Best year EVER. We sink Our Lady's playoff hopes at the buzzer with the "Nuke from Uke" FG. And dunk KalSucks.
2016: (above)
2017: DOWNHILL, Open at #14, and make the Pac-12 Champ game, but
slide to #20 after losing a crazy one to TCU in Alamo Bowl.
2018: Last decent year, ending at 9-4. The Sun Bowl performance was pathetic. Finish just out of the rankings.
