We lost a giant Laurel which the kids used to swing over the canyon below. They could get about 30' into the air but we've been worried about it for years. Whew, missed our writers cottage.
Very little computer time with no power. Rigged a Yeti and will have about an hour.
Good guess Mick... 1946. 115 wins and perhaps the all time ML attendance. Sal Taormina played on that team and on the'57 winners. Coached at Santa Clara when I played at State. Got a recruiting visit from SC coach Paddy Cottrell but nothing came of it.
it's kinda fun being banned. Just like JUG at SI.

Didnt realize SI had JUGs (Judgment Under God) too, though it makes sense. My sons never had one, and I always wondered what happened to the students who received weekend jugs. I found out when I volunteered to help out at at BCP track meet. I ran the long jump, which meant I had to oversee two sullen, unhappy BCP students whose job it was to rake the long jump pit flat after every competitor's jump. A little over 100 competitors, three jumps each, 300+ rakes, and yours truly had to admonish them when it wasn't raked flat enough.
