Farm93, in your attendance commentary you left out what I consider to be a h.uge consideration: whether casual fans are entertained by what they see on the field. This pathetic Stanford offense is the polar opposite of "entertaining." [The defense is viscerally satisfying to watch - especially for long-suffering Cardinal fans - but I'm not sure it has the same appeal to Casual Local Football Fan]. And THAT is the fundamental problem that Shaw should be considering (clearly he is not giving that even a second thought now).

I've got an idea... let's tell our defenders to stop tackling our opponents, so we get more possessions each game, and rotate all of the QBs on the roster to see who might score (cuz the other 10 offensive players don't really matter either, so all of the credit/blame should go to the guy taking the snap in each possession)!?! They'll be lining up to watch that 35-135 loss each week for sure!!!

It would be great to be able to invite folks to make plans to attend the OSU game on 11/10. Then when they say: "Great. What time should we get there for the game?" we can say: "Errrrr, let me get back to you on that..."

The issue I'm running into now is still no schedule for next season; no idea when home football games will be no idea when Reunion/Homecoming will be people who have long lead times on requesting vacations (doctors, etc.) are screwed.
