and a former athlete would also be an alum so when combined presumably higher on the list if all else is equal..
I'm guessing that total giving (current plus bequest intentions) is the main driver since giving related items are four of the eight items in the list....I'd also guess that if you are a sufficiently big donor you don't to wait for your "upgrade window", someone from the AD is probably already asking you about any changes you want....
I vaguely recall during some of the reseating exercises in the past some folks trying to figure out the relative importance of the criteria, which look similar, maybe identical, to what I recall from the last football reseating. My recollection is that then $$ talked as I knew some long term. alumni ticket buyers in multiple sports who were small donors who got much worse seats, they were sunny side football ticket buyers since the mid-1950s, of course as I also recall they only had records back to sometime in the 1980s so having tickets before then did not help.
