I thought of this a couple of weeks ago given turnovers. We need better male practice players.

So many missed layups today too. At least 3 point blank from Clardy alone, Agara, and Somfai that I can just remember offhand. Maybe just chalk this game up to the long travel. Syracuse is a long ways from home. Not to mention the fact Syracuse doesn't even have their best player today. That makes it even more disappointing.
The trajectory the past few weeks (the team does not look to be improving) has me concerned that things could spiral the next few weeks with Cal, Louisville, and ND next on the schedule next. This could turn into a 4 game losing streak real quick and like that we'll be out of March Madness or on the bubble in a very weak ACC this year.

Picked up; but when you can’t finish those rebounds, it doesn’t matter much.
- Agara 5-20 shooting doesn’t get it done.
- Ogden with only 4 shots doesn’t work

i wonder about travel as well.
i thought the coaching was ok for a change. we had so many post-to-post passes for the lay-up, which imo is exactly what we have left out in past games. and this board has been calling for passes to the post. but then we missed the lay-up...and missed the lay-up...and missed the lay-up.

Cumulatively, our four guards (Lepolo, Swain, Clardy, and Ijiwoye):
19 points (17 of which came from Clardy and Ijiwoye), 8/28 (28.6%) shooting, 1/5 (20%) from 3, 2/2 free throws, 8 rebounds (again, 7 of which came from the bench players), 8 assists (4 from Clardy), 10 turnovers (5 from Swain), 5 steals. Just a brutal day for the guards any which way you cut it. Clardy was probably the most productive, but she was 3/13 shooting (23%), and 9 points off 13 shoots is very inefficient, and Swain just had a day to forget.
Also, Eschmeyer played 9 minutes and only attempted 1 shot, which was a three pointer, which she missed. 1 rebound in 9 minutes. You can’t teach height, but you do have to teach how to use it effectively. MAS was just as invisible in 7 minutes.
