I had never known of Don Tollefson until the original post in this thread. I did know his older brother, Art, as one of the TA's at Stanford-in-Britain I in early 1966, and he is a sweet and caring man. Googling his brother's journey to the depths, I found out that he had tried to scam Art too, 20 years ago. I think that Don's sad, foul and shameless life tells us that the "40 year benefit" we often talk about in relation to recruits, is not a gift, but a two-way street. Those who go the wrong way on that street deserve to experience all the pain that they create.
