Think his dad played at Penn St. When Reihner committed to Stanford our OL was pushing opponents around and our running game was dominant and getting great media props. Stanford looked like a place that made playing OL fun (fun for OL players is imposing the unit's will on defenses) and it looked like a place that emphasized developing OL and had the staff to do it. Reihner, for whatever reason, never broke into the starting lineup. Might have been the guys ahead of him were just better or he was slower to develop. But finally he's got the chance to give it one more shot at playing time, close to home with his parents in the stands. Throw in graduate work paid for by PSU...what's not to like?
