While there has been some speculation that this is somehow an indictment of Shaw, I'd guess that it's just a consequence of becoming an elite program. I'd be interested to see some transfer figures for places like Alabama, for instance. When there are good young players in the pipeline, sometimes the seniors just see the writing on the wall. Shaw really hinted at that in the case of Lyons.  the only 5th year senior I think we will really miss is Callahan, purely because of our lack of depth at NT. hopefully Anan can contribute soon, or the coaches have a contingency plan for converting an OG to a DT.
