I've lived in Haggisland for most of the past 25 years, and I will confirm that haggis is a fine dish, when taken in moderation. By moderation, I mean once a year, January 25th, after consuming serious amounts of beer and whisky, and only if taken with an exactly equal amount of mashed root vegetables, namely turnips (neeps) and potatoes (tatties).
If Scotland ever gets independence, it's national flag should be chnaged from the insipid Saltire (white cross on a blue bckground) to a tri-colour of orange (neeps), white (tatties) and bilgewater (haggis).
