How about something somewhat related to sports?  Like, who was your first favorite athlete?  What was your first jersey?


Nobody is going to relate to "Sally Farmer when I was 8 years old."  Maybe someone might relate to "Joe Morgan when I was 10."


Just a thought.

A lot of us, it seems, can relate to your "Sally Farmer," we just each have our own "Sally."


When I first arrived here I was confused and a bit put off by some of the wildly divergent tandums I encountered, but grew to appreciate them.  Coffee, music and movies?  What are they doing in a sports forum?  This place is really like late night bull sessions in the dorms.  Sure, we're all Stanford sports nuts but sooner or later someone is going to bring up graphene.  Why not?
