Stanford should be 5-0 against SC in the last five contests (just stop and noodle on that one for a minute!).
This year looks to be a lot tougher task for the Cardinal. SC may not have played good competition yet, but I'm far from convinced that Stanford has, either. I'm still not buying Northwestern as a good team - see them as mediocre team who game-planned all summer for opener against Stanford and squeaked out a W against a team with a putrid offense that day.Â
I don't think beating the Trojans is out of the realm of possibility, but it will take far better play from Stanford than we've seen to date, especially on offense.
