So far, burning the (possible) Trent Irwin redshirt seems to be the most logical move. The guy is contributing at WR, at a position that seemed a bit weak preseason.
While we didn't necessarily need Love in the running back mix, he's proven to be a contributor (not just against UCF). Even just having him in the backfield gives teams something else to think about.
Our freshmen DB's Reid and Meeks have also been good, and at a poistion where we needed them to contribute.
Overall, I can't really complain about the freshman eligibility that has been used.
