Cal has a weak defense, but Utah's isn't lethal.  Sure, the game is at home for the Utes, but they weren't a very good home team last year, and they managed to beat good teams but lose to ordinary and bad ones.  Especially with the pressure of a high ranking, I say take Cal and the points. 

Friday night, Steph and I will be in full Stanford regalia--okay, sweatshirts--scouting the tight end for Oaks Christian.  If any others of you are there, let us know. . .

I'd take the points against Michigan State, too.  And I'd bet big against the Utes or Spartans finishing in the top ten.
