And, from what I've read, daily fantasy sports aren't legal. IIRC the fantasy-specific carve-out in the bill that banned most other online gaming required that the payouts not be related to the total amount of the pay-in, which the daily fantasy sites don't actually comply with. That may be wrong (and I can't remember where I read it so I can't check to see if I'm misremembering), but it wouldn't surprise me even a little bit if those sites weren't legal and they either get busted or change their model significantly.
Yeah, I think poker should be classified as a game of skill and legalized. But of course I'm not in charge of the law. Anyway, as you say, there are some legal gray areas but who knows.
