Hogan will definitely get a look by the NFL. I imagine that scouts will be torn on him.  His positive NFL attributes are that he is a strong physical presence with good pocket presence, good athleticism and very good decision making.  He has decent arm strength and has proven the ability to make the tough throw downfield and across the field. He has experience in a pro system and is a proven winner and leader.  His weakness are his funky release and short range accuracy.  The latter being one of the most important attributes that some NFL execs believe is the driver of success.  My prediction is that he will be a fifth round pick but will make it in the NFL and have a decent career.

I think Hogan has an underrated arm, and can probably make any throw on the field.  He's not going to hum it in there but I don't think arm strength should be a concern.

His weird release is of some concern, however.  I haven't put a clock to it but his windup is likely adding precious tenths to his release, and NFL DBs will feast on him unless he tightens it up.
