Italy first? I don\'t know about that...for whatever reason the markets haven\'t been hammering Italy like they have Greece, Spain, Portugal, et. al., and it\'s not as if the Italian public/private debt is that much better than those other countries. Plus that, none of those countries--to my knowledge, at least--is led by Silvio Berlusconi.
But a world with a dollar/pound sterling/euro parity is a world with an ever-widening U.S. trade deficit, which can\'t be good, so I certainly hope that doesn\'t come to pass.
