If it was inside a dorm then it was almost certainly either someone affiliated with the university or someone brought in my someone affiliated with the university. Although maybe Mizzou's security is ludicrously lax and anyone can just walk into a dorm at 2AM.

Sure it's not impossible to get into a dorm, but you have to be let in by someone at some point. Which is doable, but gets hard if no one knows you and it's late at night. Do you think it's anything other than highly unlikely that it was done by someone with no university affiliation?
