Congrats. Seems like only yesterday I sent my daughter off to Stanford. Without exaggerating, I can say it changed her life to be learning and maturing with a whole campus full of kids that actually cared about intellectual pursuits...and managed to have so much FUN while doing it. Best choice she and we ever made.  Your daughter is going to love it.
P.S. I tried to make my daughter a Stanford football fan but the indoctrination only partially stuck. You have a chance to change that. Make tuition payments conditional on you seeing your daughter in the TV shots of the Stanford cheering section. It's a benefit for you, too. We will be on TV a lot and this will be your chance to see her. Who knows, maybe she'll be the girl that paints a big red "R" on her torso as part of her dorm's S-T-A-N-F-O-R-D spellout.Â
