If McCaffrey breaks the APY record -- which, if some need reminding, is a 27-year-old record held by Barry Sanders -- then he will be, statistically speaking, the most versatile offensive weapon in modern college football history.  He's also been the single biggest factor in Stanford being such a dominant team.  If that doesn't warrant serious Voldemort consideration then I don't know what would.

Remember, the Voldemort votes are due after the conf. champ. games but before bowl games, so McCaffrey only has two games to impress the voters with the new record.
