This ESPN Insider article about the four most important players this Rivalry Week has a couple of interesting tidbits about McCaffrey.
I've been complaining that the comparison between Henry and McCaffrey is hard because we don't have any kind of advanced comparison between them that tries to factor out line play, but apparently Pro Football Focus does their grading for college players, and McCaffrey grades out as the #2 RB while rushing, behind Fournette, and as the #1 RB while receiving. Adding in the fact that he's now the nations #3 kickoff returner (per the athletics e-mail this morning), it's to look even more absurd that he's not the clear leader right now.
C'mon, stupac -- you know the answer! For a Stanford player who has superior stats, then playing on a team in the Top 5 is the most important factor. For a Stanford player playing on a Top 5 Stanford team, stats are the most important factor.

If all else fails, then longitude is the most important factor.
