One more note about the single-season Pac-12 record for APY. The number that I was using on my site was Marqise Lee's 2683 in 2012. McCaffrey passed that number last week. The Pac-12 media guide handles this record differently for some reason. They still list Reggie Bush with the highest total (2,890), but they note that the record was vacated. (Why it still appears in the record book, I have no idea.) Also, they list Marcus Allen, who had 2683 yards in 1981, as second, and make no mention of Lee, whose total matches Allen's. The good news? McCaffrey has erased all that confusion.
