To give some perspective:
As everyone knows, the Golden State Warriors are the defending NBA champs.  I remember watching Golden State's only prior championship, which occurred when I was in high school.  That Warriors team surprised everyone by advancing through each round of the playoffs.  Games 2 and 3 of the NBA finals, which were to be hosted by the Warriors, had to be played at the Cow Palace, because the Oakland Arena management was surprised as well - the arena was booked ahead of time for an Ice Capades show.  The Warriors were expected to be blown out by the star studded Washington Bullets, but instead swept the Bullets four games to none.  The CBS play by play announcer?  Yes, Brent Musburger.  In 1975!  That's a 40 year career in front of the TV.
