ESPN's broadcasting teams are pretty good for the most part. Palmer's grown on me. The Dwag (Pollack) is just a Dwag. He can't help himself.
Fowler and Herbie
Nestler and Blackledge
McDonough and Spielman (love Spielman)
Flemming and Spielman
Tessitore and Palmer
Flemming and Brown
Curt Gowdy with Al DeRogatis followed by Jackson with Broyles would be at the top of my list. Gowdy was understated in his style and plain-spoken. Today's announcers, generally, seem more influenced by master of hype Dick Enberg though. Mac Brown has to be the absolute worst commentator in existence. If he were paired with Fowler you'd have the worst team ever. I've come to appreciate McDonough/Spielman and Nesslor/Blackledge are good too. The rest are bad. Oh, and I wish FOX would have hired Neuheisel and put him in the booth with Gus. They'd be a good team.
p.s. autocorrect for Enberg's given name ::).
