I've heard from numerous Iowa fans that the Stanford band has been banned from road games in 2016 as well because of the Band's Rose Bowl halftime show.  I cannot find any reputable source confirming that, however. 

I think they're misunderstanding the following SI article, which was updated after the Rose Bowl to mention Iowa's displeasure at the halftime show: http://www.si.com/college-football/2015/...ban-travel

Right?  All we've seen from the Stanford administration is the second-hand statement in Wilner's article (also reproduced in ESPN, so it may have been an e-mailed press release), and that is most definitely not coming down hard on the Band.
