I generally don't have a problem with the celebrations, though I do get a bit irked when an elaborate celebration is over a relatively routine play. I think a sliding-scale rule of reason is generally appropriate. Big TD celebrations? Those are fun! Touchdowns are important, so go nuts! Nice open field tackle after a 5-yard gain on first down? A high five or a helmet bump with some teammates feels fine for the nice tackle, but the guy still gained five yards, so no need to act like you just won the Super Bowl.Â

I think we can all agree that's absurd. But for the most part, there aren't too many celebrations I see that cause me any grief.Â
