The sad thing is that other than when we play them, I don't routinely root against Cal. I like that they continue to be Rose-bowl-less, and of course I love beating them. But I was fine (even a bit happy for them) that they made it to a bowl game this year and won it. I think it takes away a bit of the bitterness, and I would rather beat a good Cal team than a bad Cal team.
