I'm with you WIM, but Kansas even without Embid was still the better team on paper. That week was two well-played games after several mediocre to bad ones including barely beating a bottom-feeder WSU team in game 1 of the conf tournament and being embarrassed by UCLA. The team was slightly better than previous ones because they got a bid where others have failed but deserved its #10 seed that year. AFAIC, it was a slightly above average Dawkins season.
