Quote:Why on why did we not pressure them bringing up the ball at the end of OT? We let them charge up and get a great shot.
I was screaming this so hard during the play my girlfriend thought I was having a stroke. Impeding the ball even a tiny bit -- a half-second or even less -- would have forced Arizona to put up a much less desirable shot.
And I don't understand why a player about to lose a five-second count on an inbounds play doesn't just toss the ball up in the air and let everybody on the court fight it out. Worst-case scenario, you lose the ball...which is going to happen anyway.
Well, of course, it was all Johnny Dawkins' fault...or, at least, it would have been if this had been the men's team, right?

A mediocre/bad coach can make the occasional brilliant move while a HoF coach can make the occasional questionable move as well. No one is infallible. As fans, we can still question decisions made by even the most decorated of coaches. Tara's credentials are impeccable and there are few other coaches I would rather have besides her, if any. But, especially during this frustrating season, little things are more magnified. It's easier to overlook 5-sec. inbounding trouble when you are 25-1 and dominating the conference as we did a few years ago than 20-6 and trying to claw our way back up to the top of the standings.
