I thought the more interesting parts were:

1. The supposed knowledge this writer has that Robertson didn't get the score he needed for Stanford
2. That he's reporting Robertson appears ready to put off committing anywhere so he can take the test again
3. That the reporter is repeating a rumor that Stanford might admit Robertson even without this magical score because of how hard he is working to get admitted
