You can call him "Bumbling Basketball Bob" as I agree that transition was suboptimal.  I do think he wasn't all that set on Trent and may have had a plan B that fell through.  I remember a con call to that effect.  Given what Bob did for our football program, I will give him a solid pass.  Muir still needs to prove himself in my book and this hire is critical.  He waited too long, but at this point, it's a NIT.

So UW was able to hire Petersen away.  I really hope we make a strong proposal to Mark Few.  He's from the NW and loves the area, but as we all know Stanford is special and he may be ripe for a new shot at the top tier.  Monty and Shaw have shown him the path - it can be done!  Either he makes a change now/soon or he stays there until the end.
